Meet "Grandma Pickles" Orchid:
Yesterday I had the privilege of sitting with one of our local orchid customers and a gem of insight for low tech and low cost orchid care. One of our seedlings decided to bless her earlier than expected with a stunning bloom!
She graciously let me snap a pic of this beauty to share!
Otaars Hwa. Yuan Bay She Shu Mounted on locally sourced drift wood (freshwater river) and forest moss, tied with fishing line to support mount.
She soaks her mounted orchids in the morning before returning them to their window protected by sheer curtains. Uses a basic fertilizer monthly and supplements with Epson salts and Calcium as needed.
